The Madrid-based duo Taburete has teamed up with Jenny and The Mexicats to produce a new version of the band’s song “Sin tus Estrellas” (Without Your Stars). It’s an impressive blend of the voices of Guillermo Bárcenas and Jenny Ball, which complement each other beautifully.

Jenny and the Mexicats are back with their new single “Quién Me Salva” (Who Will Save Me?), accompanied by Spanish musician and songwriter Pablo Lesuit, set to the rhythm of cumbia. The band showcases its unique sound to dedicate a song to melancholic and resilient hearts.

The English version of “Labios” by Jenny and the Mexicats blends infectious rhythms, jazz, ska, and flamenco into a danceable, upbeat track. Jenny’s distinctive voice and the catchy melody give the song an international flair that instantly sticks in your head.

With “Fiesta Ancestral,” the Mexicats are expanding their sound, thanks in part to their collaboration with fellow artists such as “Vetusta Morla.”

To mark the band’s 10th anniversary, a retrospective album titled “10 Spins Around the Sun” is being released. The album features songs from the three albums released to date, as well as singles previously available only digitally, such as the Mexicats version of the Mexican traditional “La Bruja” and the current, hit remix of the song “La Primera Despedida” by the legendary drum ’n’ bass producers Deep Inc.
