Alice Wonder, whose real name is Alicia Climent Barriuso, was born in Madrid in 1998 – as the daughter of drummer Vicente Climent and singer and actress Marta Barriuso, she grew up in a musical environment. She began her career with short singing videos on Instagram before releasing her first EP ‘Take Off’ in 2017. With her debut album ‘Firekid’ (2018) – produced by Ángel Luján together with Vetusta Morla keyboardist Jorge González – she established herself as one of the most distinctive voices on the Spanish indie scene.

GMO – The Label released the single ‘White Noise’, a collaboration with the Hamburg-based electro-pop duo Poems for Jamiro. The two artists met in November 2019 during a short showcase tour of Germany – what began as a spontaneous idea to write a song together turned into a wave of rousing electro-pop that gets under your skin: the perfect soundtrack for a night-time drive to the club, in search of love and adventure.

In her native Spain, Alice Wonder has since become one of the defining voices of her generation: in 2023, she was one of the eight finalists at the Benidorm Fest – the Spanish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest – with the song “Yo quisiera”, and in 2022 she released her second studio album, “Que se joda todo lo demás”. She is set to embark on another extensive tour of Spain in 2025/2026.
