The original version of ‘Labios’ can be heard in the film. The Mexicats were so delighted by this collaboration that the band went on to record another version of the song with an English chorus, which will initially be released as a single exclusively in German-speaking countries.
Furthermore, this „English Version“ can be found as a bonus track on the vinyl edition of the latest album, „Fiesta Ancestral“, which has just been released.
The hit album from 2019 is being released on vinyl for the first time by GMO – The Label and will go on sale featuring ‘Labios (English Version)’ alongside the bonus tracks ‘La Bruja’ and ‘Sin tus Estrellas’.
Following the long break caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the band is finally back on tour with this album; they are currently in the USA and Mexico, and from January 2023 they will finally be back in Europe too, starting with Spain and England, and are expected to visit the Benelux countries and German-speaking regions from the end of February onwards.
