Inside - Of Empathy, Conscience and External Determination:

The video work "Inside" by Gvoon deals with the empathy of people. With being able to put oneself in the position of another and, above all, with wanting to do so.
"Inside" is the confrontation in a self-contained space. The central element is the black padded cell: Room 2 in the basement of the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen detention centre. The cell as a place of the highest humiliation and chastisement of people serves as a kind of metaphor for all the other places in this world where people are brought into an exceptional situation by unscrupulous others, in which they are left to fend for themselves,,,
