A love-hate ode to Cologne
In "Cologne, mon amour" Raphaël pays tribute to the duo’s hometown. This powerful anthem captures a love-hate relationship with the cathedral city, reflecting on dark winters and the exuberant spirit of Cologne during Carnival. "Only love for Cologne, you are my love, Cologne, even if you're like the plague," Raphaël sings with a generous dose of irony and humor — and, of course, in French. With all its quirks and moods, Cologne becomes a place of longing, joy, and frustration — a feeling every true Kölner knows.
"Cologne, mon amour" is the third single from the upcoming album Mon armoire, set to be released digitally, on CD, and vinyl on March 14, 2025.

With "Mon Armoire", toi et moi delves even deeper into emotional and musical territory than ever before. The new single "Mon armoire" serves as a symbol of this evolution. Once an acoustic duo, they have grown into an energetic band that not only tells stories of memories but also explores the power of music to move people. The album embarks on a journey through the vast spectrum of human experience — love, lightness, loss, and social reflection — in search of answers and meaning.
To produce the album, the band retreated to the Dutch woods over Easter last year, spending a week recording the songs in a secluded chalet. The album was produced by Raphaël Hansen himself — making it even more intimate and authentic than the group's previous works.
