The original was an acoustic, folksy song that included powerful string sounds accompanied by hypnotic drumbeats. The band has now teamed up with DJ and music producer Hans Nieswandt to reimagine this catchy and danceable song and the result arrives just in time for this cheerful and–hopefully–brighter season. The new rendition song appeared on May 21, 2021 and now they are releasing a disco-themed lyric video (watch below).
The "l'heure de danse" remix was created by famous and legendary German DJ Hans Nieswandt who played all over the world, wrote a bestselling book about his travels and enjoyed international chart success with Whirlpool Productions. This musically meetup combines the "nouvelle chanson francaise" of toi et moi with the power of Hans Nieswandt's experienced dance floor and disco music sounds and vibes. "l'heure de danse" indeed!

toi et moi consist of Julia Klomfaß, singer and multi-instrumentalist, playing the guitar, musical saw, accordion, mandolin or piano, depending on the content of the song, and Raphael Hansen, singer, guitarist and percussionist. The two musicians have been on stage together since 2009 and only play their own music. They compose their songs in French because Raphael is half-French and the sonorous language matches the mood of their music perfectly. Julia and Raphael are a very experienced and well-rehearsed duo that fuses together on stage.
