Her lyrics come from her journals, which over time evolved into "thought books" – a tradition she has kept since childhood.

The album cover somewhat tells the story of the album: It shows Tylee in the dreamy cabin where the recordings took place, surrounded by the books where she holds her lyrics. The pen she’s used to write her songs for years symbolizes her creative journey. At the same time, the cover is a tribute to David Bowie's The Man Who Sold the World and emphasizes the dreamlike quality of the music.

With Holiday from My Head, Tylee creates a space where listeners can leave everything behind – an album that evokes emotions, inspires, and touches the soul.
